OUR need for salvation
Before we can truly understand our need for salvation we must understand our lost condition. The Bible tells us, and humanity proves to us, that we are all sinners. We were born under the curse of sin and are bent toward wrong.

Have you lied, stolen something, lusted after another person? The answer to this, and all other questions you can think of like this, is a definite yes.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
Galatians 3:22
But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
James 4:17
Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
The Bible declares that all people are judged by the Word of God when it comes to sin. There are some who judge sin by their standards and what they feel is sin or not. This is wrong! Sin is not evaluated by culture or society. Sin is defined by the Word of God and is not negotiable.
